The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen. I do not exactly know why, but when I was a kid, this fairytale touched me in a way no other story did. I should read it again.

I've thought long and hard, but if it comes down to choosing just one, it's probably still Cinderella. Maybe due to the fabulous film? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Yes, and because it goes to show that if a woman has great animal friends and is not afraid of walking through the snow half-barefoot, she's bound to be lucky. It depends - I can roughly distinguish between American and European. When I don't understand someone, they might be British (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) or Indian, and when someone sounds completely "normal" to me, well, then, they are probably Irish. :rolleyes

A gentler pace of life, beautiful landscape, music, and some really nice people. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Searching the web for something completely different, I just came across this page and thought it might be of interest: Eight podcasts for lesbians
I haven't checked out any of them, so I don't know whether they are any good.

Do you like listening to podcasts or audiobooks? (and just in case a certain potential lurker is reading this, yes this includes audiobooks in Dutch... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )

I LOVE listening to poetry recitings on tape or CD, but when it comes to novels, I prefer visual books to audio books.

What is a "potential lurker"? Is this just another, funnier word for headhunter? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Some make it an art, some make it a disaster, and some make it a standardly wrapped present. Which category are you from?

I've just run across a beautiful description for s distinct tone of music I currently like a lot:

singer-songwriter Kate Walsh's style was described as "life caressing".
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
thinking about Sunday morning, this would be the perfect caption.
